In celebration of Black History Month, we’re connected with Pornhub Model, Nicole Kitt who has been making waves on the awards circuit and racking up an impressive list of nominations. We couldn’t wait to catch up with her and celebrate her journey. Keep reading to hear her perspective on Black History Month, how she started in the industry, and where she sees herself in the future.
To start, tell us how you chose your stage name. Does it refer to someone?
My stage name refers to the legendary Eartha Kitt. Not many people are aware of her influence on Hollywood, but as an African American woman, she was a maven who helped pave the way for Black actresses such as myself—especially in more fluid sexual spaces, though obviously not to the degree I work within today.
We learned that burlesque was your entry point into the industry. Who inspired you to take the leap into adult entertainment from there? Were there any performers you looked up to or who influenced your journey?
Going from burlesque to working full-time in the adult industry wasn’t entirely a natural progression. However, the comfort I gained from stripping down naked on massive stages in very public settings definitely helped ease my way into having sex in front of an audience. Of course, there are things you learn on set completely in the moment. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t get a bit of a head start.
When I first started, I looked very heavily at performers like Ana Foxxx. She felt the most relevant and relatable to me at the time. I needed someone I could actually speak to for advice—unlike Eartha—someone who existed in my present reality.
In honor of Black History Month, what does this time mean to you?
Black History Month is a time of reflection, reverence, and responsibility for me. It’s about honoring the brilliance, resilience, and sacrifices of Black people—especially those whose contributions were overlooked, erased, or taken without credit. It reminds me that I come from a lineage of creators, innovators, and survivors who made space where none existed.
What are your main sources of creative inspiration, and do they have a connection to your personal life?
My main sources of creative inspiration are definitely my friends and experiencing day-to-day life. I think Jamie Foxx said it best—it’s nearly impossible to write new material if you’re not actively experiencing new perspectives. Oddly enough, I think the same outlook applies to sex work. Different rooms provide different people, which in turn provide different perspectives—and even different kinks.
You've won not one, but THREE awards for Best Actress, and received many nominations, including Top Blowjob Performer at the 7th Annual Pornhub Awards. How does it feel to be recognized alongside top names in adult entertainment?
It’s always an honor I’ll never take for granted. I work extremely hard, and although I’m very proud of my contributions, I know there were many who came before me that set the standard. I love acting, and without performers like Tommy Pistol, I wouldn’t have a benchmark to strive toward.

Congrats on reaching over 50 million video views on Pornhub! You've uploaded close to 50 videos and have been tagged in over 130 studio scenes since joining the Model Program in 2020. How has using Pornhub as a discovery platform helped you reach new audiences?
Pornhub’s platform has helped me tremendously and has translated into growth across various other platforms. Regardless of where people find me now, I know I wouldn’t have nearly the same impact or global reach without the accessibility Pornhub provides worldwide. I’m constantly educating other performers on the importance of maintaining their profiles—there’s real power in that visibility.
We love that and thank you for spreading the good word! What can companies and sex workers do to help create a more equitable playing field and encourage more inclusivity?
I think sex workers are definitely doing their part, but companies could do much better. I can’t even begin to recall how many times I’ve quoted Pornhub’s end-of-year analytics regarding the popularity of Ebony porn—yet those numbers aren’t reflected in what’s actually being platformed. I’ve been told since the beginning of my career that “Ebony porn doesn’t sell well.” My rebuttal has always been, “Have you even tried? Because Pornhub says differently.”
Numbers don’t lie! Do you find that Black representation in the industry changed since you started, and how has that affected you?
Black representation in the industry feels largely the same to me since I started, though I’ve only been in for a few years. While I do feel we’re given more opportunities in terms of acknowledgment and visibility, I don’t think that always converts monetarily.
In the spirit of recognizing Black excellence, who are some names to look out for in 2026?
Hazel Grace, Destiny Mira, and RebirthofPhenix.
What does success look like to you in this industry?
Success has always been about personal journeys and growth for me. When I first started, I created a vision board of everything I wanted to accomplish, and I’ve now achieved almost all of it—except winning an AVN. While that’s still a goal, I already feel incredibly successful. I know I can—and will—do more. Your goals measure your success, and nothing and no one else should.
What does your self-care routine look like? What hobbies or interests do you pursue outside of work?
My self-care routine is about staying in a constant state of relaxation—whether that means bubble baths, long walks, or spending quality time with close friends.
What type of mainstream projects do you dream of working on in the next 1-2 years?
Within the next one to two years, my goal is to direct and own a production company full-time. I don’t plan on stepping away from being in front of the camera entirely, but my priorities have shifted as my curiosity has grown. I’ve always had an interest in photography and videography since I was a teenager—I just never had a place to apply it until now.
